Since 2009, the Carton Council has driven expanded carton recycling access and end markets through innovative collaborations with facilities, communities, service providers, and mills.
The results of these collaborations have led to:
- Cartons being recycled by over 35 million households in 40 states.
- 250 recycling facilities in the US accept cartons and the number is growing.
- 7 North American mills and 9 international mills that accept cartons.
The Carton Council works closely with communities, recycling facilities and service providers to add cartons to their programs by investing resources and technical assistance.
