August Family Fun Recipe: Orange Creamsicle
Celebrate National Creamsicle Day the right way this summer!
In celebration of Family Fun Month, we’re sharing one family-friendly recipe each Friday. Cooking doesn’t have to feel like a chore, it can also be a time for you and your loved ones to learn and have fun together. Your family will gain basic cooking and nutrition skills that they can use for the rest of their lives. And because we’re incorporating food and beverage products that can be recycled in every recipe, your family will learn how to take care of their bodies and the planet at the same time.
To celebrate National Creamsicle Day next Tuesday, this week’s family fun recipe is a refreshing and tasty Orange Creamsicle. These popsicles are delicious, healthy and eco-friendly. Enjoy!
Ingredients for 6 creamsicles:
2 navel oranges, plus zest
1 cup of unsweetened coconut milk in a carton
2 tbsp raw honey
Stir all ingredients together, divide between 6 popsicle molds, and freeze. Then recycle the coconut milk when it’s empty!
